Take an Inside Look at the “The Southeast Asian Anti-Corruption Network (SEA-ACN) Roundtable Discussion” — From regional collaboration to solutions for transparency and a corruption-free Southeast Asia! 

 

This brain-storming session was part of the Southeast Asian Anti-Corruption Network (SEA-ACN) project, supported by Knowledge hub for Regional Anti-corruption and good governance Collaboration (KRAC), the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the U.S. Embassy in Thailand, the Chandler Institute of Governance, the Thailand Anti-Corruption Organization, and HAND Social Enterprise. The event was held on June 8, 2024.

 

The roundtable served as a vital platform for SEA-ACN members to exchange knowledge, perspectives, and experiences, as well as to collaboratively plan initiatives aimed at combating corruption and fostering transparency and accountability across the region. This foundational effort is essential to strengthening anti-corruption measures throughout Southeast Asia.

During the event, key issues were discussed across four major thematic areas:

  3. Whistleblower Protection
  4. Business Integrity
